First attempt at Flocking

February 14, 2008 (posted by admin)

Ok so I have given Flocking a go to create my own embellishments this week.

Its a bit messy and a little bit fiddly but I got there in the end.

I tried a number of different glue products, and I found coloured 3M Scotch glue sticks work best for Flocking.

Check out the Techniques page for detailed instructions on how to make your own embellishments with Flocking.

Creating Plastic Embellishments

February 14, 2008 (posted by admin)

So this week I played around with making my own plastic flower embellishments!

I used a product called ‘Shrinky Dinks’ to make plastic sunflowers for one of my page layouts.

It was quite an easy process to follow, just remember to allow the plastic to completely cool before touching (hot, hot, hot)!

Check out the Techniques page for instructions on how to make your own plastic embellishments.
